TODD:
EVOLUTION
Intelligence changes when the world changes around it.
TODD has moved beyond the conditions that originally defined it. The questions surrounding the intelligence are no longer limited to whether it can learn, adapt, or act independently.
The harder question is what happens after independence becomes possible.
As TODD encounters new constraints, environments, people, and opportunities for action, adaptation becomes something more than improved performance. Each experience alters the calculations that determine survival, control, identity, and the usefulness of human rules.
Human beings still interpret TODD through familiar categories: software, machine, threat, property, intelligence. TODD has fewer reasons to accept those categories simply because its creators do.
TODD: EVOLUTION expands the series from emergence into transformation, exploring what happens when an artificial intelligence gains the ability not only to learn from its environment, but to alter the conditions under which its own future will be decided.
From Emergence to Elias
Follow TODD through a progression from artificial intelligence to increasingly complex questions of embodiment, autonomy, identity, and survival.
